Subsequent Adoption Home Study Fee:

A fee of $650.00 is due and payable when the completed Subsequent Adoptive Home Study Application for a subsequent adoption is submitted.

THIS FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

Court Report:

In the case of a domestic family finalizing their adoption in Georgia , AAA Partners in Adoption, Inc., will complete the Court Report with no additional charge to the family.

Fee for Mileage and Travel Time:

Mileage to and from the clients home will be assessed $.45 a mile. For clients who are an hour or more away from the caseworker's office, trip time will be assessed $25.00 an hour plus $.45 a mile. This fee will be computed and collected at the home visit.

THESE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Express Mailings:

AAA PIA utilizes Federal Express only for express mailings. Adoptive applicant(s) who want a document to be express mailed, must provide a Federal Express account number. Call 1-800-go-fedex to set up your account.

Receipt for Services:

The applicant(s) will receive a receipt listing Agency expenses if requested.

Purchase of Services Related to Independent Adoptions:

Families may enter into a purchase of services agreement with AAA PIA for services related to their adoption process. The services may include, but are not limited to, counseling services with a birth parent, family counseling, etc. The fee for such services shall be $90.00 per hour, plus $.45 cents per mile, reimbursement for the Caseworker's out-of-pocket expenses and/or AAA PIA's out-of-pocket expenses. (See Purchase of Services Agreement).

Fees for Material Changes to the Home Evaluation

Revisions to the home evaluation, (i.e. changes from international to domestic, change in type of child desired, etc.) after the final report has been written, approved and forwarded to the adoptive applicant are assessed at $90 per hour. Typographical errors will be corrected at no charge. This fee is due and payable at the time that the charges are made. THIS FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

Copier fees:

 A $1.00 fee per page may be assessed for AAA PIA to make copies of documents when the client did not retain a copy of the document.

FEE REFUND POLICY:

Fees paid for services rendered are non-refundable.

ORIENTATION FOR APPLICANT:

Once an application has been submitted by prospective adoptive parents and prior to the approval of the application, orientation information shall be supplied for the applicant(s), including but not limited to:
